The Guide: Many men have asked towards the end of The Journey: “What do I do now? Is there a ‘masters level’ journey?” The answer is yes, and it is when a “graduate” of The Journey becomes a guide and starts his own group. We believe that the best way for a man to stay on his journey to intimacy is to become an Influencer guide. The guide of a Journey group is the man who puts a group together and “guides” the men through the nine month journey process. We strongly believe that we have a sacred responsibility to pass on these values to each generation of new guides.

A Guide’s Mission: We believe the following two scriptures capture the purpose and mission of an Influencer guide: Colossians 2:2-3 (Guiding men towards intimacy with Christ) My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 2 Timothy 2:2 (The principle of multiplication) And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will be qualified to teach others.
